Add images to prove that you’re a real business. It doesn’t have to be anything too professional. Take a few pictures of your offices, your team, etc. You can take a step further and record videos. 

Images are a big ranking factor on GMB. The more images you have, the better off you’ll be. However, as with anything else, you don’t want to overdo it. 

Be active 

Post on your profile regularly. Ideally, you should be doing it every day. But if you can’t, do it at least once or twice per week.

Answer any incoming questions and be helpful. A lot of businesses “set and forget” their GMB profiles. Being active will immediately separate your business from theirs. Google is going to notice that.

And not only will Google notice that you’re helpful but more importantly, the actual customers will also know of your great customer support and they will appreciate that.


Reviews are the top ranking factor in GMB. Even if you get everything else wrong but have a lot of good reviews, you will still rank. 

They will also increase your conversion rate since most people will feel confident calling a business with a lot of 5-star reviews. Ask every customer you ever get to leave a review on your GMB profile once you complete your job. Just ask them.
